Australian consumer rights (summary)

Last updated: 1 April 2026

Important: This page is a general summary for Australian readers. It is not legal advice. Consumer rights depend on your facts, the type of goods or services, and current law.

Zodmarixxloao publishes free lifestyle content. If we ever offer paid goods or services, the following Australian framework will matter to you as a consumer.

1. Australian Consumer Law (ACL)

The Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) Schedule 2 (Australian Consumer Law) provides automatic consumer guarantees for most goods and services supplied in trade or commerce in Australia. These guarantees exist in addition to anything we state on the Site and cannot be excluded where the law applies.

2. Consumer guarantees (high level)

Depending on whether you acquire goods or services, guarantees may include that services are provided with acceptable care and skill, are fit for purpose, and are supplied within a reasonable time. Goods must be of acceptable quality, match description, and satisfy other statutory requirements. Remedies can include repair, replacement, refund, or compensation in line with the ACL.

3. Misleading or deceptive conduct

Businesses must not mislead or deceive consumers in trade or commerce. We aim to describe our content accurately, avoid exaggerated claims, and clearly separate editorial material from any future advertising.
